Who provides sidelet. sidelet is provided by Ben Barkai, Business ID 22073264, V kapslovně 2770/5, Žižkov, 130 00 Praha 3, Czechia. Contact support@sidelet.app for account, billing or product questions.

Your account and license. Keep your sign-in methods secure and provide accurate account information. A Solo plan is for one named person and includes one Mac. Duo is for two named people with separate accounts and one included Mac each. Extra Macs are assigned to one of those people. They do not add another person. A plan supports up to 10 Macs. Licenses and trial offers may not be shared between unrelated accounts, resold or repeatedly obtained through new identities.

Trials. The standard trial lasts 7 consecutive days and begins on first successful Mac activation. It is Solo access for one person and one Mac without a card. A trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. The launch offer has its own linked terms. A person or Mac is not entitled to repeat trials by reinstalling the app or creating another account. Contact support if a repair or second-hand Mac incorrectly prevents a trial.

Subscriptions. The review screen states the plan, currency, total, interval and first payment date. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically unless renewal is canceled. Yearly plans are billed as one annual payment; any monthly equivalent is for comparison. A plan ordered during an active trial preserves the agreed trial end. Paid Duo and Extra access begins only when the relevant payment is confirmed. We may ask you to complete a payment verification step. A stored payment method alone is not a completed paid plan.

Changes and cancellation. You can cancel renewal in your account and retain already-paid access until its stated end. You can cancel a scheduled initial plan before its start. Paid upgrades may require a displayed prorated payment. Reductions and interval changes take effect at the displayed next billing boundary. You must review affected people and Macs before confirming a reduction. Cancellation does not create a voluntary prorated refund; statutory rights remain unaffected.

Devices and connection. sidelet periodically verifies access. After a successful verification it can ordinarily work for up to 24 hours without another connection, bounded by your trial or paid access. No offline switch is needed. Removing a Mac stops new access checks; an already-issued offline license may last until its stated expiry, and the corresponding slot remains reserved until then. Ordinary replacement limits are two Macs per person and one Duo person replacement per account in a rolling 30-day period. Repair/loss exceptions can be reviewed by support. Your existing account history is retained when changing plans.

Compatibility and permissions. Availability of particular controls and measurements depends on your Mac, macOS and granted permissions. The published support matrix describes verified support. Grant only the permissions needed for the modules you choose. We do not guarantee that every hardware-dependent function works on every Mac.

Expiry and local data. After access ends, paid functions stop. The app preserves access to local export and performs safe restoration of system effects where needed. Account deletion does not remotely erase files stored on your Mac.

Consumer rights and complaints. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights, remedies for defects or applicable withdrawal rights. See Refunds for submitting a request. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections in your country may continue to apply. Czech law governs the contract to the extent permitted without depriving you of those protections. Consumers may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) for out-of-court dispute resolution: coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr.

Changes to the service. We may issue compatibility, security and product updates. Material changes to existing subscription terms or prices require appropriate advance notice and any rights required by law. We will not silently rewrite a completed order. These terms do not promise a fixed price forever.
