Is it really free?
Yes. You never enter a card for the trial, and nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan yourself.
What if I'm not in the first 100?
You still get the regular 7-day trial at launch. No card needed either.
When does my month start?
When you first activate sidelet on your Mac, not on launch day. You have 7 days after launch to do it, and we email you the exact date.
I already started a 7-day trial. Do I lose the month?
No. Your pass extends that same trial to 30 days from the day it started.
Does it cover Duo or extra Macs?
No. The pass is a Solo trial for one person on one Mac.
What if launch is delayed?
Your 7-day activation window starts with the actual launch, whenever that is.
Can I unsubscribe from launch emails?
Any time. Your pass stays reserved, but you still need to activate within the window.
Full offer terms
The first 100 unique verified waitlist email addresses receive a reservation for a 30-day Solo trial. The reservation is assigned when the email is verified, not when the form is first submitted. Verification order is determined by the successful server transaction. Ordinary users receive a 7-day Solo trial.
Both trials are for one person on one Mac, without a payment card. The launch trial is 30 days in total, not 30 days plus another 7. Sign in using the reserved verified email and successfully activate a Mac within 7 consecutive days of the actual launch. Your account and launch email show the exact deadline. The trial begins on the first successful activation. If your ordinary trial already began, a valid launch redemption extends that same trial to 30 days from its original start; it does not reset the clock.
One offer is permitted per person and Mac. Reinstalling or creating additional identities does not make an already-used Mac eligible again. The offer does not include free Duo or Extra Mac access. There is no automatic payment unless you explicitly order a paid plan. Unredeemed reservations expire and are not automatically reassigned. Unsubscribing from launch emails does not cancel a reserved offer, but you must still activate within the deadline. If launch is delayed, the window begins with the actual launch, not an abandoned planned date.
