Test sidelet before everyone else.

Get new versions first, tell us what works and what doesn't, and help decide what comes next. Solo is free for as long as you test.

How it works.

We keep the group small, so everyone is heard.

  1. ApplyTwo minutes: who you are and which Mac you'd test on.
  2. We pick by MacWe look for a mix of Macs, chips and macOS versions, so every setup gets covered.
  3. You're inWe email you. Sign in or create your account with the same email and Solo is free.
  4. Test and talkUse sidelet every day, tell us what breaks and try new tools before anyone else.

We open places from time to time. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know when sidelet is out.

Questions.

Is it really free?

Yes. As a tester you get Solo on one Mac for free, for as long as you test. No card, nothing to cancel.

How long does testing last?

As long as it works for both of us. If your testing ends, we let you know by email and your account stays.

What if I'm not picked?

Your application stays with us for later rounds; we open more places as sidelet grows. We delete it after 12 months.

What should I expect?

Test versions can have bugs, and a tool can change before it's released. That's what testing is for: tell us, and we fix it.

Do I need Discord?

No. Discord makes it quicker to talk with us and other testers, but email works too.

Who can apply?

Anyone who is 18 or older and uses a Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Intel or Apple silicon.

Can I change my answers?

Signed in, apply again and your application is updated. Otherwise reply to any email from us.
